Job Description

As Functional Product Analyst you will be part of the Product Management department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Offer a solution for the customers' needs, based on the input of the BC (requirements) and indicate a budget for the appropriate solution.
• Define more in detail the customers' needs, in order to develop an appropriate proposal and make a budget of the functional analysis.
• Validate the functional analysis: monitor whether the analysis fits the Miles philosophy and monitor the consistency of the product
• Draft Analysis models (Models overviews)
• Analyse handover: pass the functional analysis to the designer, developer, QC en IS. Clarify the reason for choosing a certain solution. Inform about certain configuration decisions.

Your Profile

• You have a good insight in business processes: L&FM processes and/or financial processes
• You have relevant experience as ERP consultant or analyst.
• You have a good understanding of software implementation projects and development processes; you have some Java Knowledge
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills: you communicate fluently, tactfully, to-the-point and in a professional way, you prepare documents in an understandable, structured way and grammatically correct
• You have very strong analytical skills and are a problem solver
• You are a people manager: Influencing and convincing; you pro-actively provide support and advise to colleagues and coaches colleagues
• You have a degree in economics or engineering
• Knowledge of modeling techniques (UML, ERD), Component Based Development (EJB's) and database concepts is a plus.
